IN OUR TRAIL...TAKE IT!

Hikers and mountain bikers will have no shortage of trails to explore in the Lake Toxaway area.  For starters, you will want to take advantage of Catatoga’s own extensive trail system including our lakeside trail that meanders around Lake Catatoga and leads to Gorges State Park.  Indian Creek trail leads to a gazebo overlooking Indian Creek Falls, and ideal location to relax and enjoy nature or read.  Catatoga’s trails double as an outdoor classroom as work continues on interpretive signs that highlight some of the community’s most unique flora and fauna. Throughout the year sightings of deer and wild turkey are common along with a wide variety of other wildlife and songbirds that vary with the seasons.
